My first visit to Dr. Giacalone for a cleaning was amazing; truly second to none. Dr. G sat down with me first to ask me questions and review my records. I was stunned that she performed the cleaning herself instead of her hygienist. Dr. G. says that for a new patient, she likes to do the first cleaning herself so she can have a chance to get to know the patient and get familiar with their mouth. After the cleaning, she provided a quantitative evaluation for each tooth and gum area, mouth measurements, snapped baseline photos of inside mouth and outside mouth, and gave an exam. She was exceedingly thorough. Dr. Giacalone is very hands on. I am pleased to find a new dentist who has excellent credentials, is so meticulous, pleasant (staff too), and has reasonable prices.
